Welcome! Thank you for being here.
At Yoga in Color, I am dedicated to providing a unique and enriching experience for children through a combination of yoga, art, mindfulness, grounding activities, group games, music, and more.
Mission
My mission is to help children to connect with themselves, each other, and the world around them. I believe in nurturing the whole child - mind, body, and spirit, in a playful way. Think blowing bubbles for pre-k, mindful scavenger hunts, and partner wheelbarrow races. We try it all!

I am a happy transplant to West Virginia after growing up outside of Baltimore, Maryland. After my first visit to the Eastern Panhandle when dating my now husband, I knew this was the place I wanted to raise our family. I now live just outside of Shepherdstown with my husband, two daughters, and our rescue kitty, Barnabas.
I have a background in mental health occupational therapy, where I started an inpatient yoga program using simple movement and breath. I obtained my certification in children’s yoga in 2024 after seeing the benefits it provided to my own daughter. I was then inspired to launch my first small business, Yoga in Color, which combines mindfulness, breath, movement, grounding techniques, art, dance, and music in a way that kids and families can follow. My workshops are designed to keep participants engaged in a relaxed way that teaches skills for the future.
I relied heavily on therapy, movement, and grounding techniques as an outlet for anxiety during my second pregnancy, after complications with the delivery of my first. I am an advocate for self-care and mental wellness for the entire family, and hope to see you at a workshop soon! I also enjoy creating original macrame wall hangings, and own a second LLC, Good Fibes: Fiber Art.
